State of the Fart

 
I met a brute
on the Isle of Bute
and he dragged me out to sea
He showed me where the mermaids live
and how they take a pee
It isn't very ladylike
you might say that it's shameful
They'll never learn to ride a bike
sprints uphill with a fishy tail
are a recipe for painful
But they're working on a scheme
a state of fart solution
to keep the coral clean
and counteract pollution
It'll mean a change of diet
and the measures do sound drastic
though they're willing to experiment
if we all stop eating plastic
