Solitude
The solitude that used to terrify me
Has now become my comfort
I had no choice
Fighting only amplified its power and oppression
So instead I chose to reconcile
And we finally made peace with one another
Has now become my comfort
I had no choice
Fighting only amplified its power and oppression
So instead I chose to reconcile
And we finally made peace with one another

This kind of goes hand in hand with my thinking out loud write. Sometimes you didn't know what you needed until if left

My problem now is I'm so far in the other direction, I don't know if I'll ever want to be tied up with someone again. Sounds like a horrible idea.

I’m not gonna blow sunshine up your ass and tell you it gets easier, but…

Well, i suppose I'll have to thank you for that. Anal sunburn doesn't sound very appealing.

Yeah, putting that sticky aloe vera gel there isn’t so pleasant, or so I’ve been told.
I think you owe me a beer or something for saving you from that.

Metaphorical poems are my favorite. Well done.
