Beltane (Bealtaine)

May day may day it's time to decorate      
But don't forget why we celebrate      
Adorn your windows and your doors      
Add may flowers on your byres and floors      
The sacred bonfire with wicker man erection      
The lighting ritual provides us protection      
Transcend your wisdom through smoke and flames      
Remind our past from the ash remains      
Relight each house from this Beltane fire      
Within our souls we feel inspired      
It's time for nature and communities        
To be thankful for the opportunities        
Summer ushered in on our clocks      
During this great equinox of equinoxes      
So be pleasured by this feast of feasts      
With food and drink and mythical beasts      
So pay respect and honor this season in      
And thank you for accepting our offerings
