I've lost my light so I've lost my desire
The darkness consumes me like a raging fire

Its a losing effort to extinguish the flames
Will I be another victim that heartbreak claims?

I try to push on and get past the pain of loss
But my heart is shattered and I cant carry this cross

I refuse to believe this is how we were meant to be
