Pendulum
I can feel the weight of gravity,
it's pressure on my skin,
Living lifetimes in
the past and future
between the pendulums swing.
The self affacing tragedies
The comedies of youth,
The drama's in the romance
The romance in the truth.
Powerless to retain her love
it slips into the night,
Fracturing me like victorian glass,
Oblivions dark delight.
