My skin between your fingers
Please, touch me gently.
If it is my destiny to be touched,
I pray for it to be done with kindness.
For my skin is not very strong,
and so it is littered with scars.

I'm actually asexual. It is one of my deepest fears, to be touched. Yet in this world, in this time, it only feels like my choices are pre- and post-. So I dread every day, the possibility that my pre- era will come to an end.

I understand this when most kids got hurt they cried for their mother's comfort I screamed no don't touch me...
