Honor

 
the aquatic need for rebirth compels me to come forth
laying claim to my mind yet again, I take the reigns
jealousy and low self-esteem from systematic worldly rejection
will not be allowed to alter who I inherently am

refocusing my passions, centering my love where it belongs, I take control
allowing my full personality to shine
I will not dim my glow to suit others
if they find me too intense, give me space
you are welcome to your feelings

choosing to see beauty instead of monsters in the mix
everything has beauty even when it's obscured from view

kindness and respect I've shown even my demons
where at first they attacked me
I've gained their loyalty by learning their traditions and language
with simple observation
and deep research I have learned our Father created them to serve
they show him respect and fear

He says I must learn to command the demons
or they will be mischievous
choosing instead, to feed them kindness
He says this is not a language they understand
we disagree they have kindness with each other
and have shown me pity if not mercy

lastly, I will realize my potential while being myself
not caring what other beings will think of me
odd or not my Father has taught me and is teaching me still...honor
