Cat
You. A cat. So soft and so cute.
Me. I pet you. You're gentle and mute.
With your soft little purr and your little bitty nose
At least you're not some kind of brute.
I wish I could take you wherever I please
But those mean little doggies don't like you
I tried to convinced that I loved you enough
to watch over you and to care for.
But now we must part in the worst way they come by
And the hardest part is say the words Goodbye.
