embrace the bottle

I need to drink, I need to forget everything…
I wanna let go of the feelings that bottle up and break me.
I wanna let go of the world and the people in it.
I wanna get away and not have to think about a goddamn thing.
Ill close my eyes and let inebriation take over.
Ill give myself to you silently, I want you to take my all.
I want to lay down and remember the times when everything was right with the universe.
Want to remind myself that true happiness exists somewhere and I shouldn’t give up hope until I find it.
I want to embrace all the memories that are so wonderful, that they are difficult to remember.
The ones that bring sadness after recognizing that those moments have long gone…
I want to drink to heal the pain and emptiness.
I want to swallow the bottle whole.
All I want is to let go.
