How do I write my way out of this word maze
Proceeding from walls like double sided mirrors
Projecting all that I pretend to be
While hiding myself in riddles interpreted by the hearers
Ink blot galley of abstract muses take shape to portray
Did you hear what I meant or what I wanted you to think that I’m trying to say?
Audience to my own rants and rambling of metaphorical repose
Well said monotony of lyrically complex prose
Clever to appear in this my lip deep charm
Know me only for my words lest getting too close may do some harm
Never meet your authors when your monsters are your heroes as they stand to suggest
When of the onlooker is the perspective frame of observation and assumption’s made at best
Journals of raw vulnerability in poetic veils and interchangeable curtains
Taking bows behind the text of the ways in which you see
Get a bead on what you think I mean, presuming to be certain
You may look into my eyes and still never truly see, me…
