I hate the stigma that sportswear is for skinnies or able-bodied people. What a world. 😂

Thank you so much, Missy❣ Did you end up purchasing a wetsuit? I think I'll do the same .one of the short ones. If not, I'll just use braces with a regular swimsuit. Amen, to your comment in re the inaccessabilty of apparel for all body types. One of my crosses to bear is a horrible negative body image. Cheers❣

Yeah, I got a shortie wetsuit. I still wild swim whether using the chair or not. I was in the sea on Christmas Day!! I’m an ambulatory user, so can walk short distances with a crutch, and use the chair on bad flare days. People still can’t get their heads around this. I love swimming far too much to let it stop me. It’s just finding creative ways around it.

Personally I think we should all just keep people on their toes with our resistance to conformity. Get yourself a wet suit, and live a little. Other people can go swivel 🖕🏻😝🖕🏻

That's so cool that you swim so much...and in the ocfean to boot. I've always loved swimming as well. As a swimteam kid I became fairly speedy at the backstroke...to chicken to do the slip turn though. I sense a poem coming on Ha Ha!
