I have comfort
In the fact
That you are looking
At the same cotton candy sky
I am
isn’t that so strangely beautiful?
You are in heaven
And I on earth

Author's Note
At first, this poem was going to be a love “ we are apart yet we still look at the same sky” etc. but then I started writing and it turned into something about all of the people and animals in my life that have passed these past years. I hope they can see how well I’m doing now and how much I miss them.
