My Cage
From drywall
To drywall..
Ceiling to floor..
This is my cage,
And I can't escape.
These are tears of self pity.
I have lost my way.
I do not know who I became,
But it certainly isn't who
I remember..
Trapped in this room,
Alone. I deal with the monsters
In my head, as they call out
My name. Trapped with no escape.
I must be insane,
But still sane enough to know it.
Whispering voices all around,
In my cage, I cry, with out
A sound.
To drywall..
Ceiling to floor..
This is my cage,
And I can't escape.
These are tears of self pity.
I have lost my way.
I do not know who I became,
But it certainly isn't who
