Die for me
It might seem a little morbid
But I smile
When I think how many things
Had to die for me…
With a
Nose for the bloodied rose
Only the savage knows
Love told me be myself
Left me to feel no home
Where does the squalid wind blow
Fool staring out dirty window
Lies taste divine when sick
I die and find no end though
Post mortem brain to stay
Lost in my selfish way
Told me head to the light
Frightened when I just stray
my words become bread crumbs
Find me when I am done
Come eat along the way
I'll find you full of praise
And when my song is spun
Hoarse tones and awfully sung
Come feel my light in bloom
While moon devours sun
But I smile
When I think how many things
Had to die for me…
With a
Nose for the bloodied rose
Only the savage knows
Love told me be myself
Left me to feel no home
Where does the squalid wind blow
Fool staring out dirty window
Lies taste divine when sick
I die and find no end though
Post mortem brain to stay
Lost in my selfish way
Told me head to the light
Frightened when I just stray
my words become bread crumbs
Find me when I am done
Come eat along the way
I'll find you full of praise
And when my song is spun
Hoarse tones and awfully sung
Come feel my light in bloom
While moon devours sun
