Dinosaur
But What if
This poem was
In the shape of
A dinosaur?
How would it
Affect the prose?
How would it
Change the Meaning?
Would anyone Recognize the effort?
A long winding Tail Made up
Of twisting words That wrap
Around the page With some
Difficulty. If it is so Difficult, then
Why even bother? It Takes no effort
To stop. It gives no hidden meaning. So then why?
I ask myself too. To be frank, it is quite a bit of fun. Dinosaurs
Have been a little silly. A little scary. A little bit of everything.
I think dinosaurs fill some sort of bigger need. Real, tangible
Creatures that feel like fantasy. It sparks the imagination in
A way that not many other things do. For children, adults,
Everyone in Between. A cow? That's normal,
Something Expected. But a Dinosaur?
A mystery. We don't Know Everything.
Fun to Imagine The Possibilities.
