Mermaid Fantasy

You were swimming in the sea.
Down in the ocean,deep sea.
You swimmed past fish of all kinds.

And creatures with all sorts of minds.
The colors they produce,all the shapes.
Different patterns on ocean snakes.

And the way they glowed at the very bottom.
Like nightlights deep in the sea.
And you wonder,who do I want to be?

Where do I want to be?
Suddenly,you see a girl in scales.
Long dark hair,blue eyes.

With a fish tail,surrounded by whales.
They seemed like old friends.
Chattering in the ocean, without any problems or demands.

She looked at you,now you see.
An angelic smile in the deep,blue sea.
She began to swim away.

You follower her.
And you see  a whole another land on display.
You swim together,she knows the way.

To pure happiness,a magical pathway.
Before your eyes,now you see.
A whole new kingdom in the sea.

With majestic castles.
With mermaids,ocean cattles.
Living in harmony with no battles.

No struggles or sadness.
Corals all around you.
You look closer;

No sadness or frowns is found.
You decide to explore.
And you see something you've never seen before.

A castle ,surrounded by gold.
Merkind swimming,you watch this scene unfold.
Soon,your worries disappear.

And a bright smile appears.
You swim around with no fears.
And everyone around you waves and cheers.

Warm,friendly smiles.
You stayed for a while,soon you realise.
You were asleep and had began to fantasize.

Still,you believed it was real.
Even if it was just in your mind,happiness is all you feel.
You go back to your life and search in thrill..

To prove what you saw was real.
