Dining Out Of Trash Cans
George was an ambitious fox. He is very cunning and intelligent, although he would eat out of trash cans, in the alleyway, in his element.
He takes food home, back to the family den, where his lady fox and cubs are in the forestry of the ends.
He could visit a lot of bins in one night, trying to find a nice delight, when one day he messed up and had quite a fright.
A booby-trap cage had crashed down and locked him inside. There was nowhere he could run, and nowhere he could hide.
He was trapped for the night. He had stepped onto the wrong lawn. What could he do? In a few hours, it was dawn.
Lady fox was in the den and realised he was late, anything could have happened, he might have turned into bait?
Leaving young cubs asleep, she sneaks off into the night, she picks up on his scent, and there is no need for sight.
Pacing through the gardens, she hears his foxy howl, she looks over at the house there, and gives a mighty growl.
Lady fox - "You know you should be careful. What on earth were you thinking? What fermented fruits have you been guzzling or drinking?"
George the fox -"Okay, I messed up, just find a way to set me free, have a butchers around the manner, hopefully you find a key!"
Rachie the owl, over hears the foxes talking, perched on her branch, no walking, just gorping.
She "Hooos" over to the foxes and tells them she can help. She has a good view through the window, and she can see the key on the shelf.
She waits for the humans to get tucked up in bed, then she starts tapping on their window, or was it all in their head?
The humans open up and take a look around. They say, "There's nobody here!" Thinking it's all safe and sound.
Rachie swoops in out of nowhere and causes mighty fright. She grabs the key and flees the scene into the dead of night.
She opens the lock and frees George the fox. He runs away to safety, "Not even a thank you!" Says Rachie owl, going crazy.
The humans run outside in rage, with a 12gage in hand, Rachie owl flies over the foxes and shows them where they should land.
Now they all feel safe and sound, they all try to catch their breath, they hang for five and just max out, while George he has a stretch.
Before they know it, their back to their den and check on all their cubs, Rachie owl perches on a tree above, like a look out for the scrubs.
The humans pull up, with a shotty in hands and find the fox family, but Rachie owl won't have any of this, as she chills on their canopy.
She swoops down at the humans and scares them away. They rapidly flee the scene, but will George the fox still learn a lesson, not to live the trash-can dream?
