Why is fake news?
Called fake news?
In the good ole' days
'We' used a more direct approach
It was simply called bullshit
And was oft used as a pronoun
Normally associated with certain individuals
Known for speaking untruths, aka lies
Such as 'bullshit Bob' etc
I did know someone
Who called themselves bullshit Dave
Or whatever his name was
But i kind of respected him for that
For his honesty
About his dishonesty
But then again
Maybe he was bullshitting
About being a bullshitter
Nice touch of irony, thought i
Perhaps all the bullshitters
Around the world could unite
And contribute their own bullshite
Then i remembered
COP28 and all the other shams
Where world leaders pretend to unite
To solve the worlds' problems
With more empty promises
And more bullshite
Well
Ain't that the truth......
