As I read the heartfelt words
tears soon welled, emotions stirred
 those times I never bade farewell
springtime`s grape and vintage brewed
constancy to share, past times reviewed
embossed with notes
warm jewelled quotes
 swallowed hard
the day it means more than a card
parts of our hearts with best regards
in the womb of nurturs gift
conception that persists
 was the champaign day at best
prima mater stood on the peak of Everest
 stamp affixed to a pink envelope
family close or spread remote
unspoken words whose utterance caught,
conveyance of all love and thoughts
