One thing you will discover through life is that people remember themselves and all there problems and who they dislike and who they want revenge on and who owes them money and what they want to watch on tv before they have the first thought about anyone else unless they can control you, then you move up on the list to right behind thinking of themself. When I think of all the times people have forgotten me, my own family even, even on my birthday!
And I am just as guilty as all of them, I get so wrapped up in my life that I hide from them just so I won't have to make up some excuse about why I wasn't there and didn't call to tell them why I wasn't going to be there. And then there are the times I even forget myself, and then I lie to myself.
Somebody made up a saying about all that, "if you want to get something done, ya gotta do it yourself" and the ya gotta hope you don't forget it too...

There are some people I wish I could forget, I write poems about them. The ones who invade my mind when I want to think about something else, like a sucky song that gets stuck in your head and comes back everytime you are trying to remember something you forgot 10 seconds later and someone tells you it must not have been very important or you wouldn't have forgotten it.

Some people need to be smacked upside the head...!
