Skipping through the tulips
selling my wares on eBay,
when I sold a miniature fish
but its tail suspiciously got away!
The customer said it was broken,
and sent me a picture to compare,
I could tell it wasn't the same fish I'd sent,
but there was no way to prove it and be fair.
So, I gave her back her money,
and I skipped through the tulips once again,
when along came another customer,
but it didn't turn out to be a win.
She complained about some stains,
on a vintage towel that I had sold her.
I stated, "it was in the description,"
but she just cried fake tears upon my shoulder.
So, I handed her a refund and went on my merry way,
skipping through those damn tulips on this fine spring-like day.
When a man I sold a rock to claimed, "my description was quite wrong."
he saw no gold glitter on the rock.
OMG! Please just move along!
Are you kidding me?!
You’ve got to be blind as a bat to not see it in that crack,
but yet it’s just a rock, so I refunded his money back.
Quite tired of eBay and all the customer hassles,
I'll stick to the poetry writing and maybe learn to build sandcastles.
