Take me back to a place I want to go
Where cartoons and candy is all I know
Life was easier and more grand
Go to the beach, digging in the sand
Met with friends, knocked on their door
Kids today sit around, what the fuck for?
Baseball, biking, swimming all day
Post 2001 life has turned so grey
Government and tech has ruined our lives
Increase pressures, illness and suicide
Optimism flew away years ago
