In feelings' depths, where sorrows often tread,
A burden carried, hearts can feel misled.
Yet growth unveils, as time begins to trace,
Wisdom emerges, paints a tranquil grace.
No shattered heart, but open, like a door,
Revealing truths unseen in days of yore.
With every step, a journey to unfold,
Love's tale is written, in the heart's stronghold.
In rhyme and reason, life's poetic song,
A sonnet blooms, where healing does belong.
Through twists and turns, the heart's resilient art,
An open canvas, stitched with Cupid's dart.
So let it be, this sonnet's gentle token,
In growth, love's truth is gracefully spoken.

You've done well with the form and it is quite lovely! Growth of the heart can be a hard thing, but it is important.
