Pill or knife?
What should I choose?
The knife is quick, but the pill gives less pain.
How can I overcome this pain?
People keep telling me its mental, that I just need to get over it, but thats not what I want to do.
I don't want to get over it, I don't want to accept that he is gone, that it is all over.
What should I choose?

Any person who loves you would not leave you in such pain....They would try to break up in a kinder way.....You deserve better than this kind of treatment...and the first way to demonstrate that is by being kind to yourself....don't even think of suicide....most suicides fail and leave the person sicker both mentally and physically than they were before
If you are in this situation and the poem is real...NOT FICTION...get help immediately
There are suicide intervention phone numbers
in many places.
Now the people who are telling you to just get over it....underestimate the time you need to heal........So ignore the people who tell you it is mental......They would probably feel the same in this situation.
Now that you have vented you feelings in a poem...you have done something very constructive...as this is poetry therapy

Kitty, as I wrote on the other poem he never chose to leave me, we used to date, it didn't work out so we went back to being best friends and then he got killed. I know the feeling when a suicide fails, I've been there before and I don't want to go back there. But its been almost a year and every time I have fun I go on this huge guilt trip when its over because he is no longer here to have fun with me
