I am but a leaf that falls in Autumn
I am but a particle of dust on a shelf  
a prayer before I sleep  
 
I am but a shadow listening to silence  
I am nature's first green to gold
a silken snow  
 
I am but a long walk at midnight  
I am a poet you are my rose
