A Butterfly and Strings
The sound of the violin
is as if
a butterfly is flying
effortlessly
through the sky
All beautiful
in her own fabulousness
I can hear her now
is as if
a butterfly is flying
effortlessly
through the sky
All beautiful
in her own fabulousness
I can hear her now

Top 3, definitely! I take the violin to mean the grace, fragility & indeed the tranquillity of the butterfly as it flies on its journey. This is indeed beautiful. 😊

The violin has always been a musical favorite when it comes to Classical music. Bach's Brandenburg concertos were always my favorite. The elegance and gracefulness of the melodies are indeed equivelant to the agility and exquisitness of a butterfly.
A nice little poem you've crafted here. :)

My father played the violin as a child.
He turns eighty this month and is in failing health. Your poem reminded me of when I was younger and I could see the excitement in his eyes when he talked about playing the violin.
Thank you for sharing this today.

I get drawn towards sadness a lot, when I hear a violin. Not so much because I'm sad, but because the tunes are so beautiful and I can't grasp a hold of them.
Much like a butterfly, perhaps. Let it be beautiful, freely.
Awesome write, btw.

Like an ancient Greek pastoral poem of butterfly magic. There is nothing like virtuoso classical music and a vision of heaven.
