Could it get Creepier?

Could life show any thing more creepier
than, ' Dad takes daughter to Purity Ball,'
to pledge to stay virgin till Dad weds her
to her beau, in some hollow holy hall?
 
For sure that is foul medieval stuff
from tribal Afghanistan's Taliban,
and what controls can ever be enough  
since bible writers gave Eve to Adam?
 
My understanding of gross creepy chaps
is, they've got to follow the party line,
even when that party spouts murderous crap
they obey because to obey's devine...
 
And when called, to cast the very first stone,
They'll  do so even at one of their own.
