LESSONS IN THE SCHOOL OF LOVE (2)
There are times of sadness
and times of joy.
but there is no experience
comparable to loving you.
When you are across
from me in a crowed room,
I feel deeply connected to you
as our eyes say "I love you."
Take my longing hand
as we stroll in the moonlight;
the coolness of the night
will turn into a glowing fire.
The honey from the comb
is sour to my taste
when compared to the sweetness
from a soft kiss from your lips.
Of all the wonders
in this big beautiful world;
none is more beautiful
than two honest hearts in love.
and times of joy.
but there is no experience
comparable to loving you.
When you are across
from me in a crowed room,
I feel deeply connected to you
as our eyes say "I love you."
Take my longing hand
as we stroll in the moonlight;
the coolness of the night
will turn into a glowing fire.
The honey from the comb
is sour to my taste
when compared to the sweetness
from a soft kiss from your lips.
Of all the wonders
in this big beautiful world;
none is more beautiful
than two honest hearts in love.
