Black and White

The road may be long and loneliness can blind you . You see everything through a lens of black and white . You snap the camera and have photographs as if that represents your whole life . It isn’t that Is how you feel on the inside. It’s narrow and small diminishing and impinging on everything. It’s not you on the outside round the corner from those feelings.


The sky is still aqua blue with fluffy candy clouds that still float on by . The grass under your feet is still green and crisp from the morning dew and will dry when the sun rises. And so will you when the felt tip pens colour you in again. Rose bud ruby lips and a brush of peach on your high cheek bones and your golden locks flowing without a care .

You will get there it’s just time and being kind to yourself even in the dark . Especially so as that’s what your heart needs compassion and patience and it will find that glimmer of light. Nobody can truly inhabit the dark and thrive . It’s only your mind that tells you so . It doesn’t mean that it’s one hundred percent bona fide.
