In a world with space so slight,
Where every soul must find its flight.
Contemplating land and boundless sky,
Is there a law, unseen, ruling high?
If hate and greed maintain the chore,
The devil's purpose forevermore.
Yet, in a realm of goodness true,
Can the world provide for all we pursue?

Author's Note
In crafting "We are the world - Only One World," I sought to explore the profound questions that linger in our minds about the nature of our existence and the world we inhabit. The verses contemplate the balance of contrasting forces, the potential influence of emotions like hate and greed, and the capacity of our world to accommodate varying states of being.
Through the lens of poetry, I invite readers to join me on this reflective journey. The title encapsulates the singular focus of the piece, emphasizing the unique and intricate nature of the world we collectively share. The open-ended verses are intentionally crafted to provoke contemplation and individual interpretation, encouraging each reader to find their own meaning within the lines.

Can the world provide for all we pursue?
What a prolific poem my poet, and a question worth pondering, and in my opinion, you have to look at all angles, and exactly what you are looking for the world to provide. Metaphorically speaking, it gives us, the basic necessities; air, water, fire, and Earth, then it bestows on us the four seasons, to hibernate, hunt, or harvest.
The world as we come to know it us religion, to praise, it gives us living space to reside on its shores, sands, or land. I could go on; it is not in the absence of what the world that provides, it does by the laws of Mother Nature, now when you incorporate the theology of mankind that is when one's existence begins to take over the purpose of why we are here; we get obsessed with manmade weapons and technology, those two factors become the detriment of society, where we become limited in being rewarded from the gifts of the world; peace.
You made me think on that comment my poet, meaning very nicely composed with several variables in its conclusion, well mine I should say, enjoy your evening Friday and have a pleasant weekend.

The mind is a beautiful refuge within itself, to explore all those possibilities, it becomes soothing when you allow others to glimpse into those wonders you inscribe about, thank you, and you are humbly welcome, always.
