“A Little Palmology”

Shadows of the heart
Illuminating the silhouette as an imaginary work of art
A beautiful image seen not felt
Sentiments it speaks, permits the mind to emotionally melt
Fill in the empty space with spellbinding words, so serene
Where reality of the desired shadow, softly blankets a vivid dream
Motions of remembrance with each circling pulsate
Dance in unity within the beating chambers when it’s awake
Tender caress of its steady cadence for harmonizing souls to partake

Prevailing in sincerity, the craving of a sweet treat as a soft piece of moist cake
Mind over matter, heart dominating hunger from the essence of the stirring it makes
Combined souls lost in the hushed wake
Taste of its dreamy passion, touch my soul when love refuses to wait
Take my hand, let’s soar above the great lands

Elevate my heart, to the universe, it’s yours
Allow destiny and fate to give you its seductive fill in rewards
Gently carry my heart in the palm of your hand
Selective and protected for a twosome sultry dance
The center core of the bearer of an emotional romance
Heart to heart as our minds enhance

Connected by the galaxy from a faraway glance
Giving into the passion without second thoughts of an intimate chance
Can you stand in the mist of the rain with me
When the shadows of my heart aches to be free
Your expression, your passion, your relent, when my mind tends to flee

Reeling me back to you
Laying among the stars, reaching for the climatic cosmic feeling, giving you such a sweet just due
Such rapture of devotion
Soaring, gently dipping, or persistently backstroking in the deep ocean
Shadows of the Heart
The beginning, the ending, the first initial rhythm that plays the feelings of its echoing part
Giving, and then surrendering, and yes, I do love when we’re enweaving in the dark

Mmm... the softness of another's palm slowly waltzing all over your skin, oh yes, it can be enticingly felt
