Choices in the darkness
There's a evil I know never leaves my side.
It lives deep in my psycie where the darkness resides.
Its name is no secret and it feeds when im weak.
My sanity the victim, bits of my soul it will slowly reep.
Some days its comfort keeps me from freezing so tightly l hold .
A blanket of deception and lies I sink deeper in the fold.
It's not just me that pays the price. Its my children my family as my heart turns to ice.
Emotions are dulled and struggle is the life that is chosen.
Change must be initiated. I must start to forgive or struggle is the life and I stay frozen.

I'm grateful for your kind words. And never be sorry us old souls use all of our hard ships life time after life time so we can relate to every one and thing so nothing and no one will ever have to be alone. Suffering, struggle, pain, and hard ships it might be a training regiment from hell but it don't stop us.. I will always wear all my scars with honor. I injected meth for a lot of years, addiction is a son of a bitch i think I portrayed well In this poem,I do alot better as of present but I'm not gonna lie it's struggle every now and then. All these life times lived I got all the other achievements I couldn't not try it on ultra expert mode lol.
