slowly my soul comes
but in a timely fashion
to every beginning is an ending

silently rising to be with you
in your death sleep waiting
quietly keening in the immortal

swiftly now running through the eternities
you patiently covet my presence
craving affection only I can give you

sanctifying the union with a bloodletting
