LET ME BE YOUR TREE

If you are not too tall,
come meet me in the hall.
There I will be your 'tree'
while you 'koala' me.
If you've anticipated,
I won't be decorated,
but I would not say No
to garland of mistletoe
round my head being placed
while most close face-to-faced
while your own necklaces
can stay in their places.

Author's Note
Inspired thinking about Betty's description of a 'koala' session in her poem 'Choose your own Adventure - page 62". This was originally in reply to her reply to my comments on the poem, a few extra lines have been added..
At a time of year a certain kind of tree is uppermost in minds, I thought this topical.
