Mountain's Silence And Mystery
I cut across the pine forest of the small village, thru' a narrow pathtway
between the trees, a trail beaten by herds and shepherds, and even some hidden
small mountain foxes...who still lurk in their hidden lair....
to reach the sacred mountain, which in the eye of the common mind,
is only rocks, stones, some lost vestiges, and dolmen, randomly strewn like deserted ruines, after bellicose assault.of Neron or Attila's rage, and where freely growing wild plants, give shelter to locusts, and some creeping harmless critters.beside..........
The mountain is my emotions' asylum, lying on hills top, like a tower overlooking the lower lands, a sacred hideaway between the rocks, giving me a panoramic vista of the land, stertching wide before my eyes, where the "Tanger's Well village" dubbed since i was kid.sleeps on the hillside, drowned within a misty december shrowd....
My childhood remembers all the stones; the wild fruits, jujube, oak, and the edible herbal flavors and spices,,,with nice names given...and the thrush and the little sparrows.that skips from thistle to shrub and from stone to jujube tree...
..
My resort, my sacred bower, where poetic rituals incense the mystic airs,
and the heaven's halls, and the elements share the inspirational incantations,............
i see every stone whispers a word contained within, each flower
dances with a perfume spining around,, and each tree harbours a sylvan spirit
watching in silence, and gathering all the human cares, stirring every bird's throat to
sing under a shady Earthly Eden.
As usually as i head towrads the mountain, some mystic thoughts invade my head,
tell me that my spirit is contained there among those stones, that dust
inside a whole spirit that reigns omnipresent in evey things lying around....
What else could i be, or exist, if not from fluid and solid, from water and dust,
from an action of assimilated elements, into the osmosis the Human-Earth genesis..........
