As I revisit the pages of my life, penned with ink and the raw emotions of 2011, I feel the need to open up about the journey that's unfolded since then.

Back in 2011, I found solace on this website, pouring out confessions that echoed with shadows from a past etched in pain. In 2014, the weight of my father's presence lifted as he bid farewell to this earthly realm, carving out space for healing and renewal.

Over time, the fragments of my story wove together into a resilient tapestry. At sixteen, earning a G.E.D. marked both a milestone and a doorway to wisdom. Ties with my mother, once strained, softened with the balm of understanding.

Now, as the mother of a vibrant seven-year-old, his laughter reverberates as an anthem of joy. Love, though not with Corey from those bygone days, has found a different rhythm, a steadier beat.

No longer confined to the simplicity of mac & cheese, my life's flavors have expanded, seasoned by the lessons of the years. Each challenge met has become a step toward growth and understanding.
