Six long years
Flew by
Blinking eye

Many questions
No answers

That sad song
Carries on

One picture was too big an ask
Some face time for a daddy
And his daughter
Ha

Sure
No chance

What does her voice even sound like?
What does she look like now?
Will she remember him?
as he fondly holds her
in his heart

Maybe this time
Things will be different
Perhaps this time
A new years embrace
Or rather
Concerns for the new moon
