Not Everybody Lives

Not Everybody likes everything you do
Nor do they think the same way, too
You're living in a dream world
If you don't believe it's true
Not everybody lives the same life as you

You've got a pill for this and a pill for that
There's even one that helps burn body fat
I'm not saying you shouldn't take pills
But is all this necessary to get you through
The only one who really knows is you

I wish I could help you I really do
What does it take to get through to you
I'm bewildered as I can be
I can't say I like what I see
I don't know why you won't talk to me

Is your heart as cold as cold can be
Why do you buy into misery so easily
You're not a God to me you see
I can't even relate to you personally
Facing your demons can set you free
