Image for the poem Blindfold

Blindfold

Staging illusion;
a warning
till
death
Seizing the manner
From what truth
is
said
The blind are forgotten
Unto shadows
they lie
Stricken impairment
of their mind
Shelter the anger;
the emotional decay
Confusion;
mere victims—
our thoughts
gone
astray
From thy mouth,
I possess vision
Of how
the
whispers perform
Capability to sunder
Undue sadness,
reborn
Deceived by the blindfold
That envelops my kind
absolving conclusion
Is escaping
the
bind
