Our Love

Long ago we planted  
The seeds of our love  
They lay dormant in the frozen ground  
Waiting for the sun  
They never died  
Nor could they ever  
Their resilience is too great  
The sun now rises  
And grow they shall  
And blossom and flourish with glee  
The plant will stretch  
And never stop  
Til it reaches the stars above  
And when they day arrives  
When our material selves dissolve  
The love we shared will linger on  
In all we did involve
