The coldest season

Verse 1

I broke the walls...
I broke the walls..
enter into my mind's halls...
the end is nigh
I say with a gleeful sigh
goodnight kids, time to say goodbye

Chorus
The wind, cold, sweet, and alone
is my only guide back home.
Frozen blood in my veins
suffering through these growing pains.
The coldest season
dying for no reason
this feels like...treason...

Verse 2

Step inside and see the displays
nevermind the mess, it always stays
no matter what we do,
and let's not forget the writing on the wall
guess I should have checked after all
storm's a brewing, stay with me
we only ever get ghosts for company...

Chorus

Verse 3

Frozen wasteland, even the sky is blue
cannot ever make it untrue
guess I should have got a clue
now I just feel the snow fall
on my skin but still...no call

Bridge

Maybe I can skate by
on this frozen lake of lies
but no matter what I do
I cannot free you
