A poem lost
within the night
from my mind
too sleepy to write.
I'll remember it
by morning

I never do.
Lost for good

will come

Similar feeling to a photo you failed to save right? It happens! I dreamed of a poem in a dream the other night, funnily enough & it was long but yeah, could not recall any of it when I awoke! Record the poem rather than write it down. Keep a tape recorder or mobile phone by your bedside! -(
