Impression

What will remain,

when my atoms disband,
parting ways,
dispersing, as a castle, sliding grains
or boulders.

Slow or quick.

Feathers flutter, and Mothering White
drifts from the cold North Sea.

What will remain?  Fading footprints
and a depression
where I sat, writing names

in the Endless Sand.
