Best friend
We used to be inseperable,
Me and you,
Nothing could ever,
Come between us two.
It was paradise,
It was the good life,
Now in my heart,
There is a knife.
He came along,
Paradise turned black,
I just want,
What we had back.
Now I'm ignored,
For a guy who says he loves you,
Why can't you see,
I honestly do.
He will never,
See you the way I do,
I really would,
Do anything for you.
I guess it's fine,
As long as you smile,
Your smile is so pretty,
I haven't seen it in a while.
But dear,
I can't deny,
Those three words,
They aren't a lie.
No matter how many times,
I will be broken,
I'll always be here,
standing with arms wide open.
Me and you,
Nothing could ever,
Come between us two.
It was paradise,
It was the good life,
Now in my heart,
There is a knife.
He came along,
Paradise turned black,
I just want,
What we had back.
Now I'm ignored,
For a guy who says he loves you,
Why can't you see,
I honestly do.
He will never,
See you the way I do,
