Ballad Of The Nymph

The nymph sang in the river.
Spreading her wings.
And you feel a cold shiver.

She sings about your destiny.
As you listen closely.
And you come see upclose.

Her beauty you will find.
She knows that you are listening.
But she doesn't mind.

As the sun reflects the water.
Her blue eyes,you'll see.
She can be anything you want her to be.

As you come out of the bushes.
And she greets you with a smile.
You stay with her, enjoying the weather for a while.

As you notice something;
The glimmer in her eyes.
And around her,colorful butterflies.

And you may ask yourself,is this all real?
Or is it just how I feel?
Still,you enjoy the scenery.

Whether it's a dream or not.
And the birds chirp their melody.
Beautiful, divine.

As the moons begins to shine.
Ever so slightly,daily and nightly.
Even when the wind runs cold.

Her wings, warm, unfold.
To try and warm you up.
As the two of you stargaze.

Looking at the blood red moon.
And you may begin to feel yourself swoon.
In this magical dream of yours.

As the stars,on the big black ink dance.
And darkness begins to prance.
And you find yourself new friends.

Their names are the night, sun and moon.
Stargazing nearby a dark lagoon.
As you feel yourself fall asleep.

And you slowly slip out of her grasp.
You realise it was all a dream.
But you are the happiest you have ever been.
