Stone Cold Fahrenheit - with Maeve_Edmonson

Confined behind these walls
of intoxication and gloom,
and extracts of monsoons
from the cauldron deep quinine,
listening to the pendulum swoon,
in bitter ides of twilight, I now reside.
Blood reflects from the lagoon,
my heart cracks for what's inside,
as my mind's bassoon shares a tune,
these thoughts begin to come to life
beneath stone-cold Fahrenheit,
in silence as meditation recites.
