With a shadow of one's creation, exhaling,
my schizophrenia's acey-deucey
walking my Halloweenie
looking through the fractured mirror
at my naked bones of tattered threads
observing a failing image of a pinned omen
neath the weight of dark mascara, breathing,
touched by the brush of the twilight's insanity
listening to the clogging crickets in stereo
and the muted horrors of being a shadow
of tone-deaf stones in an orchard screaming
guilty omens from the wretched Ouija
with frozen embryos crawling up my nose
at my naked bones of tattered threads
