Coherent Words
From this quill's immaculate contraption
arousing tentacles of feeble moonlight
dripping from a lyrical macabre inkwell
falling from a shadow of the alt delete
into the dark spittoon of bleached bones
stampeding birds from my mind's bedpan
before the rigor mortis kicks in
listening to the dead's cold achoo
with a coherent verse of words
making room for Mama
and her little pale oyster
