Image for the poem Tomorrow should be

Tomorrow should be

Watching the flames rise high
I remember the look in your eye,
the broken smile that followed the heart
mistakes were made, that's the final part

Tomorrow should be better
hopefully I'll forget how I met her.
Yes, tomorrow should be all I need
to finally set your ghost free.

Words were said, promises broken,
city so old the words were left unspoken.
One last walk on the beach,
love so close but just out of reach
one last sunset, one last day
City so old, spreading it's decay

Tomorrow should be better
hopefully I'll forget how I met her.
Yes, tomorrow should be all I need
to finally set your ghost free.

Angels falling on tough times
God seems to be calling my bluff,
I lie to you, but it's never enough.
Heaven is lost, paradise closed
pride is my only companion, the one I chose

Tomorrow should be better
hopefully I'll forget how I met her.
Yes, tomorrow should be all I need
to finally set your ghost free
