A rose petal slips
and falls along your skin
like a hidden kiss
lost to the wind
A promise skips
across the bridge
of time
whispered in moments
of bliss like thunder
ravaging dreams
like the pounding hunger
and savage screams
Words like snow
melt and grow
like crystals
in dark places
of where, I don't know
